Superior's Growth: Wisconsin's Second Highest

Two recently announced projects are the latest in a string of recent construction in the City of Superior.  Perkins Restaurants is moving its corporate headquarters from Duluth, MN to Superior and a new 11 million dollar assisted living facility is also coming to town.

Mayor Dave Ross stated, "we've had an unprecedented growth of 4.85% in equalized value which may not seem like a lot.  When compared to the rest of the state, however, Superior ranks second."

Todd Novaczyk, founder and CEO of New Perspective, credits the cooperation between Mayor Ross and his administration, as well as the city council for creating a favorable environment for his firm's project.  Novaczyk, stated, "Very few [areas] where we have been received better, supported more and just encouraged if you will by the staff here at the city of Superior."

Mayor Ross added, "Because of this strong partnership between this council, this mayor and our administration that we have moved forward in a way I believe Superior is becoming the envy of the region."
